nice selection of words
This is a lighter weight book, almost a booklet, with a nice selection of words helpful for younger kids and even older. The illustrations are colorful and representative of the objects. I bought this to help me learn some words myself so I can talk to children in a Afghan refugee family we have met. I can also use it and show them the pictures, too. It isn't the highest quality but very useful. For me, a non Persian speaker/reader, the thicker lines in the script make it hard to read the Persian words, because I am still a rank beginner in the language. I imagine for a native Persian speaker this wouldn't be a problem.

Super cute, but need guidance of a native speaker
Bought for my 2 year old to expand her vocabulary (and my own). Really love the colorful pages, very kid friendly. The only downside is some phonetic challenges in the translation. For example Ear is written Gush, which would lead you to believe it's pronounced guh-sh but is really pronounced goosh. Apple is written sib, which would be pronounced very short (Like the word sip), but is actually pronounced seeb. The illustrations also show diverse images of people with varying skin tone & hair styles which is appreciated. The illustrations are just inconsistent throughout with the level of detail. For example, look at grandma vs grandpa, aunt vs brother.Overall it's been difficult to find a nice vocabulary book in english/farsi, but this one does an ok job.

It has misspellings in Farsi and English. It starts from left to right.
It started from left to right even though Farsi is from right to left.It uses q for ق or غ . It should use « gh ».Has misspellings :Mum instead of mom, rodro instead of khodro , qaayeq instead of ghaayegh….

Could be more user friendly
By user friendly I mean thicker or board pages because my toddler keeps clawing at the pages and the book is damaged quickly. The book itself has great content in my opinion as a native speaker. It makes it so easy to teach my daughter Farsi.Would like to see more books like this on the market.

Too small and flimsy
Disappointed. The content is great but the book itself is not worth the price you're paying. It's paperback and very flimsy.
