I have been looking for a car mount to replace my current one for some time. Bonus points that I can use it one handed. Even better bonus points that it is a charging mount. Having purchased Atoto products before (I have the a6 and s8 radios), I was eager to try something new from them.The holder comes with a sticky mount and a vent mount to give you a total of 3 options for your car. I decided to try it out in my wifes car since she was complaining about her current clamp one and mine was bolted to the car itself. Why remove mine just yet. The articulation is very good for placement and the suction cup mount to the sticky bad is very strong. The matte black finish blends into the background and a slim profile makes it unobtrusive (kinda, it is a phone mount after all) on the dash.The charging cord and the adapter are USB-C standard which is very nice, no need to fumble around making sure the plug is the right way to fit. The adapter itself is very solid, feels more metallic than plastic and has 2 ports, 1 regular USB and 1 USB-C for those new cords Samsung likes to send out with C on each end.Function is as expected with the arms. They move fairly quickly when the phone gets near and width wise held my Note 20 Ultra without difficulty. There seems to some small amount of storage for battery as the arms worked even after the car was turned off (keyed charging port). I did not test how long this would last, but it was a pleasant surprise. The wireless charging worked with a thin case on the phone. A Otterbox rubber housing was too thick to charge through and a leather case seemed to be very positional. While nice to have, not really a deal breaker.So, why the 5 stars with this one flaw of not charging through the case? I really do not see it as a flaw. Samsung chargers themselves have difficulty with cases and wireless charging. A lot of trial and error was needed on my end to find a charging pad that does work. Everything else about the FreeHolder is good, it works as advertised and the build seems ready to last for years. I have had good results from other Atoto products and I am expecting the same with this one.

The box had a little damage to it but the inside had extra padding so damage occurred to anything in the box. Setting up was so easy. They didn't use a simple suction cup fixture to mount it to the windshield. It has the good sticky stuff to make sure it holds on top of. The mount was very secure and shook little while driving. Even when you have the extension out, it remained stable. When the phone, or your hand, comes close to the dock the legs automatically open and then clamps down on your phone. Removing is as simple. Overall this is a phenomenal products. Excellently and thoughtfully engineered to provide both form and function and built to last. The only thing I could knocked it the charging but I am testing different things and making sure it's not my cable I am using. I will use the one that came with it tomorrow and see if that makes any difference. But it does charge and holds your phone securely plus it looks great too and, as you can see in the one photo, provides you with a status light on the bottom of the cradle. I highly recommend buying one. Best on the market

It's an awesome wireless charger. Not a whole lot to say really. You can mount it on your dash, air vent or windshield. I opted to mount it on the windshield because in my car one of the air vents that I could use is partially blocked by my display on the S8 Ultra Plus. Also I do not have a flat surface that's convenient for mounting the Freeholder 01 on the dash so the windshield works perfectly for me.There are three ways to open the arms of the freeholders 01. One way is the physical button on the left side of the unit. Another way is a non-physical button on the right side or an electric eye that senses when you place your phone up to the unit. It works perfect I haven't had any problems and I highly recommend it.

I find this holder/charger to be unique because of the infrared sensor it uses to detect when you are placing your phone in the cradle and automatically opens up and gently clamps on to the side of your phone (see the video). What really sets it apart is the powerful wireless charging capability. I have a thick phone case and I also have my drivers license and two debit cards between the charger coils and my phone. However it makes a solid charge connection and keeps my phone charged well. It's the first wireless charger I have found that does that. One important note is to use the power adapter and charging cable that came with the device as I was running into trouble using my own charger and cord until I swapped it. I also love that it came with several accessories that allow you to place it in a vent or on any surface of your interior. I was able to get this installed and working in about 5 minutes. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

I like that I can wirelessly charge my phone using this mount, but the auto function only works when the "accessory" power is on in my car. That's ok, but if I want to simply mount the phone when I'm sitting in my car, well I have to turn the accessory power on. The suction works great, and the charging action is quick. I like the unit and would recommend purchasing.

My car has a dedicated USB port to connect the drivers phone to CarPlay, and to the onboard computer. When this charger is plugged in, it charges and holds and all, but my phone is no longer recognized by my car and cannot connect to CarPlay, making this device cool, but entirely useless to me.

My phone + case combo was too heavy for it. It also wouldn't charge through my case.

This is a great product and does exactly what's expected of it. My only gripe is that the ball/swivel mount is not as adjustable as I'd prefer. The shape of the arm prevents the mount from swiveling a full 360° to fit all applications

Giunto puntualmente, ben imballato. Appare ben fatto e consistente. Carica velocemente. Fin qui le aspettative che sono state ben ripagate. Aspetto piacevole e assai pratico, il fatto che le griffe di tenuta dello smartphone si aprano appena si avvicina il cell al caricabatteria, grazie ad un sensore di prossimità. Altrettanto al momento di prelevarlo, per cui basta avvicinare la mano e il cell si libera. A volte, tuttavia, questo diventa fastidioso, per esempio quando si ferma una sveglia, o la navigazione, per cui bisogna appoggiare il dito sul display e le griffe si aprono.. ma si tratta di imparare a non avvicinare la mano dal basso e il problema si risolve.Ne acquisterò un secondo per mia moglie.

Il venditore è molto rapido, preciso e disponibile, in caso di problemi sono pronti a rispondere e a risolvere nel miglior modo gli eventuali problemi.Detto questo il prodotto funziona perfettamente, il sensore apre il braccio e serra automaticamente lo smartphone in modo solido e sicuro. La ricarica wireless tramite accendisigari (viene fornito anche la spina da accendisigari con porta USB/type c) è rapida. Il prodotto lo consiglio vivamente, alimenti il supporto e il gioco è fattoPienamente soddisfatto +++

Muy contentos con oa compra, se sujeta bien aunque yo lo tengo enganchado a la salida de aire porque no me gusta en el salpicadero pero la ventosa qye trae también es bastante buena. Buen agarre del móvil, se abre de manera automática cuando detecta el teléfono y la carga es rápida.

Una volta fissato il prodotto è veramente ottimo e funzionale, è un attimo da capire l’apertura e la chiusura delle sicure a lato del telefono ma si carica appena si appoggia.

Ottimo prodotto, ricarica veloce senza filiHo trovato molto utile il fatto che il supporto si apra e si chiuda immediatamente quando avvicinò lo smartphone per ricaricare.Io personalmente ho utilizzato il supporto che lo tiene bloccato nelle prese di aerazione, ma volendo si può utilizzare anche la ventosa.
