Perfect size and weight
It is wonderful for large pots of soup but mainly use it to cook turkeys for the dogs special food. Usually cook a turkey each week and this pot is a heavy-duty, wonderful addition to my kitchen!

Excellent Stock Pot!
Before unboxing, I was impressed with the weight, and after unboxing, I was impressed with the construction. No rivets on the inside is a great feature for cleaning. Despite this, the handles seem to be well attached and rugged. The lid fits well, and the thickness of the bottom promotes even heating. I used this to produce a 5-pound cheese (starting with 5 gallons of raw goat milk) and it worked beautifully. No scorching or hot spots, and the pot helped the milk maintain temperature for a couple hours while the culture and rennet did their work. Would love it if they offered a 8 or 12 quart version!

Amazing stock pot
I needed a pot that can hold moisture well and hold a lot of food at once. This pot is amazing. The size is perfect for what I need if for and the quality is great for the price. I do highly recommend it if you have space and need a stock pot to cook large quantity of food.

Perfect on my Induction Stovetop!
We bought an induction stovetop and none of my pots and pans were compatible, including my expensive stock pots that I use for making sauce and canning. Found this one on Amazon and it more than compares to the ones I paid 3x more. It’s sturdy, distributes heat perfectly and I have had no issues with burning. Cleans up no problem. I’ve made 20 quarts of sauce so far and it’s still like new. If you’re on the fence, buy it!

Great stock pot. I use one for water bath canning.
Very sturdy and well made. Some of the most "stainless" stainless steel i've ever used. Easy to clean and doesn't rust. Very difficult to burn anything in while cooking down stock or fruits/vegetables. I add a canning rack and water bath can in mine, Its far superior to any ceramic coated water bath canner pot. My only complaint is that the handles are spot welded rather than riveted, as rivets are much stronger. Spot welds often break given enough time and use. However it has held up fine for 2 years of heavy use.

Quality and value
I've been using Tramontina stock pots for years. While not on the same level as All-Clad, the cookware performs well and consistently. I have the 4, 5, and now 6 gallon versions. Great pots for the price point.I've had the 5 gallon one for about 15 years and it has held up very well with near weekly use .

Good value! Worked great for what I needed it for!
I originally purchased this to use with as a scalder for processing and de-feathering chickens for meat. It worked PERFECTLY. I clipped a thermometer onto the side of the pot so I was constantly able to monitor the temperature(ideal temp for scalding chickens is 140-150 F) of the water. I may use it in the future for large pots of meat stock or for batches of soap. Great buy! Seems durable enough for the price. This is a big pot! It takes some time for it to start bringing up the temp of the water inside. That’s expected for any large pot. I was using this on a an outdoor propane camp stove which the base actually fit perfectly on.
