Beautiful book easy to follow cross stitch patterns lovely designs

I wouldn't say this book contains proper projects to do - yes it has patterns but it doesn't tell you how to make those things into the items in the projects, so I'd just say it's a pattern book. The patterns themselves are really nice

I pre-ordered this on Amazon back in July. I contacted them mid-September when it released on Sept. 1st as to why it has yet to be delivered and they said "it wasn't at a fulfillment center near me" and that they couldn't guarantee a delivery date but tried to assure me that it would be delivered. First week of October when it still wasn't delivered, I contacted them again. Same issue. Then I had to have a person (because apparently the chatbot is incapable of canceling pre-ordered items) cancel this item for me. Then, I went to the Amazon resellers and there were about 18 of them and THEY had it not only AVAILABLE but also could give me a guaranteed delivery window. Absolutely shocking I tell you that the re-sellers were far more capable than Amazon this time. If you are STILL waiting on this book to ship, contact a human being on Amazon, cancel, and buy through a reseller because that is the ONLY WAY you will likely get this book. Either the publisher didn't anticipate this many folks buying or Amazon simply didn't have the forethought to look at their sales and stock what they needed where they needed it. I don't know.---Onto the book - absolutely gorgeous printing, in English, tells you DMC threads needed at the FFO picture, and provides all the patterns in the back half of the book. The patterns include colored blocks WITH symbols and are very easy to read. The corresponding DMC colors are listed in a legend next to the pattern that has the color block with the symbol next to the DMC number. There is also a little refresher for those of us who are seasoned/a little bit of a how-to for those of you who are beginners in the very, very back of the book to show you how to start, types of stitches, etc. The book does NOT provide finishing instructions to finish it exactly as the author does, but she does mention what she did (just not how). The pictures of the FFO are the only visual you get on how the author finished her pieces. But I imagine if you browse her Instagram, you may get some more detailed close-ups to help.For newbies - FFO means Finally Finished Object.

I've been a huge fan of this designer for years, and this book is such a gem!!! I love all of the designs and it's nice to be able to mix and match little patterns and icons. I will be stitching from this for years.
