Lingham's Chilli Sauce - 280ml

I’ve been using this product for years (20?) and was once able to purchase it locally. The only place I have Lund it recently is through Amazon. Since, I have introduced it to a friend and two grandchildren and they all love it. Some hot sauces are just hot. This gives you heat with a lot of flavor. Though I don’t use it by itself most of the time, I do use it a lot in a mixed barbecue sauce that I put together.

Enhances the flavor of sauces and foods but you have to adjust your own heat level.

I love this "chili sauce" a bit more than the "hot sauce" I bought by the same brand. It's not as thick and although they have the same ingredient contents (just listed in a different order which means differing amounts used, the "chili sauce" is not as thick as the "hot sauce" and there is something slightly different (better) about the flavor of the "chili sauce", and for these reasons it seems to be more versatile. The only thing that didn't sit well with me is the shipment packaging. The box was made of a really soft cardboard and when it arrived it was crushed and squished. Since it was being shipped from overseas (which was to my surprise, as the "hot sauce" was shipped within the US), it should have been place in a much sturdier box. Fortunately, the bottle was wrapped really well inside the box so it wasn't damaged.

Found this sauce by luck a few years ago In a discount store. I love it on pizza, eggs, chicken, and more. My wife has ordered this twice off Amazon and I asked her to stop. Just no way its worth $10 a bottle and I havent been able to find it anywhere ekse- even after contacting the manufacturer.

After hearing all about this sauce, I finally tried it. yes. It's great!I'd like to compare this sauce with other Chili sauces and eventually will. But right now, I can say that this is definitely worth the money! Too bad it's so hard to purchase in stores in NYC.

The first time I used Lingham's was way back in 1967, when we moved to Singapore. I have never been without it since and it hasn't always been easy!

Great sauce. Heard it mentioned in a YouTube video by Padma Lakshmi and was anxious to try it. It did not disappoint!
