My dad can only take liquid foods. And he has a strong tremor in one hand that make holding utinsels almost impossible, not to mention cups. I bought these a year ago, they get used — and washed — daily, sometimes more that once in a day. I put them through the dishwasher as well. Not only that, but I'll plunge an immersable blender into them to make one-serving smoothies, and I can warm soups up in the microwave. These three cups are nearly pristine. The plastic is clear and unscratched and sparkling. There is never any residual odor from any contents I put into them.They don't look like baby sippies. and they hold a respectable adult-sized amount of liquid.I would like to see the spout be redesigned to make the interior a single wall with no corners, but I bought a pack of extras so I would always have some on hand while the rest go through the dishwasher.They are NOT leak proof. Liquid pours out of the spout if they tilt upside down, but nothing leaks past the rim as you drink from them.And did I say they are durable? Honestly, I think I'll have these same cups on hand when I'm in my dotage!

The cup does have the double handless and a wide bottom making it more difficult to tip over. The sippy cup lid fits. The hole opening to keep a vacuum from forming when using the sippy cup opening is large enough to use with a straw.The other set of lids that are to be used with straws fits. You have to put it inside the cup, it doesn't sit above the lip of the cup like the sippy cup lid does. There aren't any instructions to explain that.

The lid does NOT stay on! Try putting water with ice cubes in it, tip it up to drink from the sip spout … the lid FALLS OFF and the contents of the cup spills all over you. Very BAD lid design!! BEWARE.

This looks good in theory, but unless it’s the only way somebody could hold a cup, I think it’s too small and awkward having a handle on both sides because the liquid wouldn’t be that heavy but if you don’t like it, you can always return it. It is a good quality.

when my mother came home from the hospital she was left with only the use of one arm as well as being at an angle in her adjustable hospital bed. between those two issues she was constantly spilling water etc. on herself.before recent events i'd only thought of these type cups for little ones not adults. thankfully these type cups exist for adults too. the cup is large enough to hold a full standard coffee cup of fluid with a little room to spare. the cup never has leaked. the lid has never come off accidentally. it works for both hot and cold beverages. i have used it several times for coffee and due to the way the handles are offset it never gets hot. last it is easy for her to hold due to the handles and being light weight.i have nothing negative to say about this cup whatsoever. since getting it the only time she has spilt anything on herself was when she used another cup and not this one. she has not once spilt anything while using this cup. it works wonders and i am very glad i purchased it.

First drop with lid on spilled all over the floor. Figured I did something wrong tried again. Spilled all over the floor. used the 2nd lid same problem. Not sure how this is supposed to be spill proof when there are open in te top of the lids holes with no gaskets. Save your money and keep looking!
