Block knife sharpener

So first day I got it, I tried using it but didn't end up seeing any real results and I did get upset and question it's usefulness. But after rewatching some of the videos, I learnt that the problem was I was not pushing it hard enough into it, so don't afraid to give it some force .Also apply some WD-40 before you sharpen aswell. After that I was able to better get a hang of it, I sharpened my pocket knife, some kitchen knives, even a hatchet pretty well.So it does work well, just do be careful with it. Mr.Block makes it look easy in his videos but you don't want to go fast and miss the sharpener and hit your fingers.

Does a good job of lifting the edge, but if the blade is to far gone, you still need to use a stone.

I tried it on a few different types of blades. It had no discernible effect on most. I get better results with a kitchen steel.

Not a substitute for sharpening stone kits, but great for quick honing of blades that aren’t too dull or chipped. Be sure to watch all the plentiful YouTube videos that show exactly how to use it. Especially good for honing serrated blades which can be tedious using other methods.

It’s real good keeps all my knives sharp as razors

Works well. Carbon steel takes some time to get an edge, but other steels It does as video shows.

I really like it because you can sharpen your knife fast and it gets it sharp!
