Kathryn Egly did a wonderful job of taking us on an educational exploration with her boys! My young ones absolutely love this book and would like to visit Pike’s Peak someday for the same discoveries.

My 4 kids loved this book! They could relate to the conversations the brothers were having and enjoyed pretending they were on the adventures right along with them! Very informational, too! Mom and Dad learned something, too!

This is such a great book. Fun adventure hiking and learning about different wildlife. Watercolor illustrations are gorgeous as well.

Exploring Pike's Peak can be quite an adventure. Travel with four sweet boys in Climb, Soar, Swim, Explore as they discover the wildlife of the area. This is a wonderful book with beautiful illustrations that not only tells a story about a day in the life of George, Clark, Paul, and Luke, but also educates about the various animals that can be found in the Colorado mountains. It is refreshing to read about boys who love to be outside in the fresh air rather than inside playing video games. This is a lovely story written by a great mom who actually has four boys and encourages them to be outdoors learning and exploring,

An incredibly heartwarming story of four young boys and their special adventure. This isn't just an adventure book. The book's author, Kathryn Egly, has written from her heart and definitely tugs at the reader's heart strings as we travel with George, Clark, Paul, and Luke and experience their discoveries at Pike's Peak! The title, "Climb, Soar, Swim, Explore!" expresses such excitement and what I especially love about this story is how it communicates a great theme of love and family!!
