I have a smallish club chair (armchair) that I needed to recover on the cheap, and thought I'd try this option.Wow was I pleasantly surprised! This slipcover would have easily fit a much larger Club chair but the fabric is so soft and stretchy that it also snugged right up to my smaller chair. There was quite a bit of leftover fabric that I easily tucked around the seat cushion and into the creases and corners of the arms etc. The end effect was "almost" as perfect as if it had been upholstered professionally. I might not use this in a high use, high end living room situation, as I imagine you'd have to re-tuck the edges frequently, but for moderate use, it is the perfect thing.

The item has a hole in it after it being on my chair for less than a month. It didn’t have the hole before and the chair does NOT have pointy edges. Also, it is baggy on the chair so it isn’t as if the item was stretched out.When I contacted seller they were rude and accused me of not inspecting my purchase before I put it on the chair. Apparently, they can arrive damaged and I am supposed to see this ASAP and return it. Well there was no hole and it shows they don’t have quality control and expect the consumer to have to inspect the item before using it. Of course we should all inspect items when we get them.To ‘blame’ a consumer for something that should have been done at the factory and being quite rude about it on top of it I will never purchase anything from them again.Shoddy item and rude sellers are not cool.

Our old living room chair, while still comfortable, had some very noticeable marks on the arms from our cat over the years. Instead of throwing it out, I decided to just order one of these covers and get some more use out of it. GREAT decision, as the chair now looks like new and feels great like before. A very smart & economical way to renew your furniture instead of buying new every few years. Hate to throw out something that still works just because it is not 100% attractive like before.Putting the cover on was a bit of a trial-and-error thing, as the tag on the rear was not located exactly as per instructions, but I was determined to get it on so after about 5 minutes of "nope, that looks wrong" I finally figured it out. Tucked in the foam pieces behind the cushion and now this thing looks sharp. I like it so well I'm going to order one for our sofa. The included foam pieces are supposed to keep the material tucked in behind the seat cushions, but to tell the truth I don't think they work that well - - they pop out every 2 or 3 days and have to be reinserted, but I suppose it depends on how soft or springy your particular cushion is - - ours is pretty soft so they pop out regularly, but not a big deal. I just keep a pillow or two for my back in the chair anyway and tucking the material back under the cushion is no problem every few days. The cover looks quite attractive and I like the texture and velvet-like feel of the ribbing of the cover, very comfortable and not hot at all. Good decision that gave new life to a faithful old chair.

Once I figured out "which end is up" so to speak, it was easy to install. It fit like a glove. In fact, the slipcover could've probably fit on a slightly larger 'armchair.' But overall, I'm pleased with the product. So, if someone is looking to give an 'old' armchair a NEW look, this slipcover can definitely do the job. When you consider that having the armchair totally reupholstered at the cost of nearly what the armchair originally cost, it's a no-brainer to utilize a slipcover, no doubt. I hope this commentary helps.
