Not as black as photographed in advertising but looks like a super cool museum sculpture in my bare bottom drop off Pico tank. Working perfectly for dialing into the perfect flow spot for this finicky coral baby without having to keep picking it up to moving around with aquarium tools. Only needed one for now but will most definitely add the others as my hobby grows. Packaged and shipped extremely well. Unlike vendors’ other frag options, this one does not come with a suction cup. Perfect for anyone not wanting to glue anything in an acrylic tank. Because it is ceramic and has a hole in the base, you could try adding a suction cup for the price. Additionally, the ceramic is fairly smooth so if utilizing vertically, would need to apply glue on your frag plug to attach to ceramic. Good luck with that! Lol... Hope these pics and review help you on your reefing journey. I am way more Finicky than this coral and I absolutely love the sleek modern abstract touch! I got all four of mine in one piece very tightly wrapped in bubble wrap, probably a little too tight. They rubbed against each other and scratched up the palms a bit. If this was an iPad it would be going back, but you can not even see any of the issues and they will work great for keeping debris out of my plate corals and I have that sponge just waiting on my new rock to leech all the air out before I mount it up on its hand. Also want to try a few encrusting corals on them. I just bought two more packs, I’ve learned when you find something unique to grab them while you can. The plate is 2” and just barely fit.

Not sure about the previous review but all mine arrived packed really well and in perfect condition. I have a heavy LPS nano reef tank and these are perfect for displaying my gems. I just ordered 4 more packs!
