My husband and I did a ton of research on choosing a chair for our nursery. I normally do not take the time to write a review, but since I found myself reading every single review on each chair we were selecting, I thought I would take the time to review.Pros:-mid century modern look of the chair- does not look like a nursery rocker- love the gray color and walnut color of wood-price point - similar chair on other websites were close to $1,000-the arms seem like the correct height for nursing a baby (we are due in March so haven’t officially tested it out yet)-I like how firm the chair is- if you are looking for a chair to really sink into this chair is not for you, but I prefer a firmer chair.-I am 5’2” and my head rests comfortably on the back of the chair and my feet touch the floor- some of the chairs I tested out my feet did not touch the floor.-The rocker rocks nicely on our hardwood floors and has protective felt in the bottom of the rockers.Cons:-My husband was able to assemble this chair in about one hour. He is very good with directions and said that some of the directions were not that clear. The main one being the brass nuts that you are supposed to put into the wood part of the rocker (the very first step) were hard to get into the too small pre-drilled holes. He had to use a rubber mallet to hammer them in and then figured out they were supposed to go all the way down into the holes, which is not clear on the directions. He said if he had put them in the wrong way they would have been impossible to get out.

Love the chair and color (cream). Its on the firm side of comfort but is still very cozy feeling for my son's nursery. I love how high the back is so that I can rest my head against it. Has padding on the bottoms of the chair, so it's very quiet when rocking. I'm 5'2" and my feet can touch the ground when sitting in it. The style is very classic and modern, this was exactly what we were wanting! Very easy to assemble took a whole 20min.

Ordered this for my expecting sisters Christmas present, and I decided to go ahead and assemble after reading all the reviews of it being hard to put together.... the first few steps are easy the very last part of securing the back to the base is what gets you! But with a little patience I was able to assemble it with very little assistance in just under an hour! Quality wise the fabric and base seem very nice, the cushions could be a little more plush but I understand for the price point, and If your someone with wider hips I wouldn’t recommend as the seat is on the narrow side I’m a women’s size 20 in pants and I fit but fairly snugly- luckily my sister is a smaller so I believe she will be very comfortable!

I bought this chair because it looked nice, it was and a great modern choice, and the price was very reasonable. Also, because I want to rock our 6 month old granddaughter. The fabric is soft and the base seems very sturdy. I like the fact that it is tall enough to lay your head against the back rest. The arms are the perfect height to sit comfortably and hold my granddaughter to rock her.

I love the look of the chair and the color of the fabric is true to the picture. I was disappointed with the wood tone. I was expecting a more rustic barn wood look but this is more of a dark ebony or mahogany stain. The task of putting the chair is easy to follow but the last three step were too difficult and I needed my husband's help to finish. The are not the most comfortable chairs either but decent enough.

Nice looking chair but a screw hole was missing in the center of the chair. There was a hole but no metal fastener, so the screw is just sitting in there and the back to the chair is loose. It was also covered by fabric so I had to cut it to even see where the screw was supposed to go in.

Ordered this rocker during prime day after reading the reviews and looking at prices. For the price, I love this chair! Decent quality, comfortable and has smooth rocking action!

Package it comes in is not as heavy (ofcourse it would differ by person but I'm 5'11 moderate build bloke and I was able to move it up first story apartment with relative ease). Assembly is simple - instructions are clear and all required tools are provided. Chair itself has soft upholstery and sturdy base. Been using it for 3 months and so far liking it. Prolonged sitting does make my butt ache so may need extra cushion if you plan to sit longer than 3 hours
