What’s the soap base?

There are no ingredients listed on Nablus AL-JAMAL soap label. I can recommend also the Canaan OLIVE OIL soap, which works as well as Nablus. From the Canaan label: INGREDIENTS: * organic olive oil (64%), *organic coconut oil (16%), water, lye, salt . *"Fair for life Fair Trade certified ingredient"

I just got it today. But I was wondering if the red thing on top of it is normal. Also, is the smell supposed to be old oily smell?

Yes, completely normal. Also yes. The smell is normal as well. That said I think it’s the best soap out there. The red specs will wash away and the smell will improve once you get through the outer layer.
