Wonderful product, used for my 14 week old puppy! One week later her coat is still soft!

First thing I noticed with this shampoo is how wonderful it smells. It reminds me of the lavender scent when one walks into a spa.It is advertised on the bottle as being “natural”, organic soap that is GMO free, cruelty free (BIG + for me), sulfate free and paraben free. It lists that it is “hand mixed in the USA” so I am hoping that means all the ingredients are from USA too.This is the first shampoo I’ve had that says it is good for both dogs and cats. I always thought that dogs and cats had different pH levels so needed separate shampoos. I am also not familiar with a dog shampoo that has an expiration date listed on it. The expiration date is 4/12/23 and I just got the product. I guess because it is “natural” that it can go bad without preservatives.I like shampoos that have a good lather to them. This has an ok lather (see picture) but, on the bottle, it says that “natural shampoo needs less suds” and that “it is working”.It seems to clean well however, I did notice it to be a bit oily. It does contain olive oil, coconut oil and lavender essential oil which might be why I noticed the oily feel to it. It even seems to remain after rinsing. This should make it a good moisturizer.Once dry, his coat is silky soft, shiny, has a hint of lavender smell, feels clean but I still feel a tinge of oil on his coat.Overall, I am satisfied with this shampoo but I don’t think it will be my every time go to shampoo simply because I don’t like the oily feeling.

I wash my dogs about once per week in the summertime so I go through a lot of shampoo. I love the smell of lavender as well as oatmeal shampoo for my dogs with sensitive skin. This shampoo comes sealed under the cap so I knew it hadn’t been tampered with. The shampoo is a medium thickness and provided plenty of lather on my dogs coat. The shampoo rinsed out completely after the wash and her coat looked shiny and clean, the next day there were no white flakes left over in her coat like some shampoos. My dogs coat smelled good after her shampoo, no more doggie smell. I love that this is made in the USA using organic coconut oil as well as organic olive oil. I like this doggie shampoo and I would buy it again.

The shampoo arrived and the bottle was sealed below the cap to ensure there was no leakage in shipping. I appreciated that as so many shampoos have arrived in a mess of the product. Once removing the seal, I could smell the lavender scent. I liked that this shampoo was natural and cruelty-free.I used this on my 60lb Black Mouth Cur and was pleased with it. He smelled nice after his bath and his skin didn't have any reaction to it. The bottle seems a bit small to match the price, but overall it is a good quality product.All in all, this product will clean your dog well and is a more natural alternative to some other products.

My wifey is in charge of washing our 10-yo Maltese and she didn't like this shampoo very much. Here's what she had to say:"I used it to wash my Maltese dog. First, it did not lather up and it's not foamy at all. I had to use a lot of the product to wash my dog. Second, I don't really like the fragrance that much. Although it seems to clean the dirty stuff off my dog, it does not leave his hair shiny. I like other dog shampoos that I have tried. I give it 3 stars."
