Elixers Of Life: Revitalizing Herbs and Vegetables (Kegan Paul Library of Arcana)

This is one of the most interesting books on herbal uses that I have come across, and is by one of the authors of the more famous 'A Modern Herbal' by Grieve and Leyel. A very good read and possibly source book for anybody interested in this sort of thing - usual rules about poisonous plants apply, of course!

I enjoy working with herbs and making various products including elixirs. I found this book and thought it would be a great addition to my current 'library of herbal' books. This beautiful book arrived today and in better condition than what we see in the photo. A quick review of the information and I am delighted with this little gem. One sweet discovery was looking for information on one particular herb and discovered that 2 pages was not completely cut. This print is from 1945 - London. I do not have the heart to change this little treasure. What a delightful piece of history. Thank you.
