I have purchased this 5 times, as it's so easy to use and install (even for an un-handy person like me!). 4 of the 5 light strips came with no issues. My fourth one had a big buzzing sound that I isolated to the plug that came with it, as I tried it with the other plugs and there was no sound. Amazon kindly sent me a replacement since I've purchased many of these before. Just be aware that they should be quiet when plugged in. If there was a way to have a master remote control, it would make the product more perfect, as right now, I have multiple controls I need to make sure I need separate. But otherwise, I think my oldest one is going on 2+ years and still doing well!

I have already purchased at least 10 of these lights in the past 4 years. Not because they stop working but because I'm a makeup artist and they are super helpful at work and at home. I have them in 3 different rooms at work along the perimeter of my mirrors. I also use them at home on my vanity mirror to do my makeup. Since it is in my room, I also use the sunset setting as a night light and turn it off with the remote when I am ready for bed. The remote works great. These lights are more affordable than makeup lights, and they have managed to stay on well. We did remove the lights off of one mirror and we were able to remove the glue with goo gone.

Worked great for my cabinet lighting application, it turns back on automatically when power is applied which is what I was looking for. Also has a nice brightening transition effect when powered up instead of just popping on at full brightness.

Well, on mine, the remote controls stopped working. So, I went back to the website and saw that they had a wall dial that has also a Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and comes with remote. The remote that came with this new unit works to turn it off and on, but the the other button, such as brightness and dimmer switch and all that, don’t work. I’ve got to use the Bluetooth app in order to dim it or make it brighter. I just don’t see why they don’t test this crap before they send it out. other than that, the lights seem to be getting dimmer as time goes by. like, noticeably dimmer. I’ve had them for probably two or three months, and I feel like I would have to buy five or six more of these light strips to be as bright as they were in the beginning. They don’t flicker and that’s nice, but they are a little bit on the expensive side. I would very much like for them to replace the remote control so that I can get one that works, but I don’t expect it. The truck the return window has closed, and I’m sure that they don’t give a damn if they’re crap didn’t work or not. I would however recommend this product, and would probably buy it again because it seems to be the only decent product out there of this kind.

Don't buy these! No support from manufacturer. Emails not returned. They sell kits and make this look like you can connect multiple lengths of lights together but it's more complicated than that. Their photo shows a "Double Feed" installation to prevent dimming of the lights. But, there is noticeable dimming with just ONE SET of lights. When you connect another set to them it gets worse. Clearly they advertise that they can be connected, and they sell a variety of connectors. They don't tell you how expensive it is to add the right transformer, power supply, etc. to make these work. You almost need to be an electrician if you plan on installing more than 16 ft of these. I had one string of 32ft, simplest installation, and the dimming was significant. Imagine what happens when you connect (with their connectors) two or more 32ft strings together and then need to do all kinds of special wiring, buy a $105 transformer, etc. to get these things to work. I've talked to other professional installers and they all said they had the same problems and had to figure out work arounds with these lights. If you aren't connecting lights together and just have a small strand then these are fine. Anything other than that almost needs a professional installation and a lot more money. Again, if the manufacturer had better instructions or diagrams, and would answer questions then this would have been simpler. Find another brand of lights!

So, this is my first experience with any type of LED strip light. I applied it to a 32” TV for bias lighting. The lighting temp is perfect for my situation. Because I only installed it today, and haven’t watched anything, I dunno if it’ll provide any relief from eye-strain.The adhesive seems more than adequate when applied to a properly cleaned surface.The reason for 4* rating instead of 5* is because of the lack of instructions. I’m not a complete idiot so I figured it out with a little research but I would have appreciated a QR code or business card-sized instruction manual on where to cut the strip and how to adjust the lighting using the remote.
