can this soap be use for tinea versicolor?

I had tinea versicolor for years. Used a special formulated product pharmacy had to make when it ran out and needed a prescription to refill. It helped but never cured. I had most outbreaks on mid back so husband had to apply and as the lesions would get better it was difficult for him to spot treat and though I told him to just apply to full back area so all was treated he had problems understanding this. SO after 12 years of this and still having reoccurances I looked on line and discovered sulphur soap products and creams sold for this condition. The bar soap was horrid as was the cream as it ruined my bras and would never get the stench out of them. I kept just two for dedicated to using it. It stated somewhere you need to use for a full continuous 6 months. I bit the bullet so to speak and despite the smell which to me was horrible...I kept with it. I have never had another outbreak. Now I found defense soaps both bar and liquids when I was attacked by some kind of insect bite that would not heal. I had tried sulphur soap and cream and it was not cutting it. Doctor prescription did nothing at all if not making it worse. Their own lab and a second opinion lab insisted it was an unkown insect bite not a senstivitiy to pet or pet bugs as they tried to convince me otherwise. The Defense laundry additive along with the liquid and bars in showers took care of the problem. I have continued to use ever since and now my husband uses too. I tried the baby product they make but did not hold up to my scalp psoriasis as well as this and the liquids for adults. I'm a fan and though I treat my hair with a second milder shampoo after use of the liquid as a shampoo I will always use it. If tinea came back I would turn to this as my first defense and I would treat my clothes and bedding for 3 to 6 months to insure towels and bedding and my clothes were not a source of re-infections. I do understand tinea is one of those fungals that many people carry and only when our immune system or climate etc. get out of balance does it become a major problem or outbreaks on our skin. But I hated it anyway. I can not diagnose anyone with a fungal problem but for me I believe I picked up both problems from public places like hotel bathrooms and one really filthy campground Flathead lake was not maintaining and was over used. I now also bring my own portable loo with me to avoid the use of outdoor camp toilets. However there are times we shower in public and used by other bathrooms with little options for defense...Defense comes to help with my peace of mind which in and of it'self may help too. Worry may cause a drop in ones imunity so maybe this is helpful or not. I know I had a miserable time with Tinea so my empathy goes out to you. I know you asked back in 2016 but someone else may have similar problem with it today too.

I am looking to make a move from liquid soaps to a single bar system, is this natural manly soap?

Its an excellent bar soap for men or women. It does not leave your skin dry and rough.

Can this be used as a shampoo?  is the ph as high as the gel?

Defense soap can be used on short hair.  The PH of 9.6 is pretty consistent.  This could be damaging for longer hair.

Would this work for removing (light) makeup on the face every evening?  I have dry skin.
