Fiancé was absolutely in love with these shorts. Still raves about these and it’s been 2 months!

This is like my 7th pair. First pair in about 8 years. I got too fat.Amazon recommended a 36. Nope. Definitely no. 34 is slightly too large. 32-33 is what fits best atm in different clothes. I can load the pockets and jump, without a belt, and the pants stay up. Close enough.Whoever thinks these things have stretchy fabric needs to try normal hiking shorts. These are like lightweight canvas feel.The pockets get larger as the pants get larger.

I thought these shorts would be thicker, more sturdy material. But they are very light weight, fits very good, pockets are the way I like them, and they minimize the sweating by breathing well. Also, stains don't show up on the material and after washing, they don't have a bunch of wrinkles. I wear a 33-34 in most all pants, and I ordered these in 34" and they fit well. I like the length too. When I first opened the package, I thought "these are way too light weight and I will send them back". But I did try them on, and I liked them more than I thought. After wearing them several times, I think I will buy another pair. They are so much cooler on hot days than the heavy cotton shorts I have been wearing when doing outside activities. When they get wet, they don't hold the moisture; whether sweat or rain. I don't think you will be disappointed, but we all have our idiosyncrasies...what we do and don't like. I like them!
