Will theses hold your window open while driving down the road? If not dose anyone know of a device that will hold the window open? Thanks.

It probably will when new, but remember these hold up an all glass window. While they are holding it up, under stress, a tiny pebble bouncing off the glass will likely shatter it.

Strut will not move, stays in open position. Am I missing something?

They are fully open when you take them out of the box and nearly impossible to close them in your hand. You will want them open when installing them. After they are installed they should close normally when you push down on the window. If they are replacement struts then you may need to push a little harder to close window.

What is the length of the supports?

Extended Length: 25.39" Compressed Length: 14.57"

The top of both struts will not stay in my wrangler. Any suggestions?

Make sure the clip is on all the way. Start by pulling the clip off with a flat head screw driver then push the strut over the ball all the way and push the clip back on. Do one side at a time so the glass does not shut on you.

Easy, direct fit

Direct fit for Jeep JK hardtop glass liftgate. Struts are strong - one new strut completely supported the liftgate while working on the other side.Total install took less 10 minutes. Only tool used was a 3/16" flat tip screwdriver.

Stiff to shut, otherwise worth it

These came and I am happy with them so far. They come with two pieces that screw onto the strut and seems to be much more durable. Took about 5 min to install both without any issues. The rear window opens so much smoother but is a little stiff in shutting it. Not an issue, just a heads up. The fit is perfect, make sure the window is all the way up as I thought the struts were too long. User error. Would recommend.
