My First espresso maker.
One day we were at a popular coffee stand while getting some groceries. I opted for a double shot esspresso and was handed a cup with about 1.5 oz in it. The coffee was ok, but nothing spectacular. Well Christmas rolls around and I found this on sale and seemed like a good product. I can honestly say that first cup of double espresso was creamy, rich, and many times better than the chain stand. Since then I've learned alot about creama, portafilters (what's that?), baskets, tamping, single wall, double wall, steam wands, and frothing. The quality of the espresso is excellent, and the one press button selectors are welcomed.I have since become somewhat of an expert. It did take me a little while, however after watching some videos I learned how to froth the milk properly. I use a 12oz pitcher with about 100ml of milk. 2% works for me as well. I use this also to froth some milk to top off my daughters hot cocoa. The unit is easy for beginners to master as both the single, and double baskets are double walled. A bit of research will reveal what this means however it basically makes it easier to create a consistent cup of espresso. Because of this the unit also makes nice cups of loose leaf tea. I use the double cup and fill it about 1/2 and get about 3 6oz cups from this before it gets weak. It's also nice to have a pitcher of water on the back of the unit, rather than adding water for each cup.I have to say the cup warmer is a joke. Not gonna warm a cup anywhere close to the point where it would make any difference. Another issue is the vibration from the water pump increases the noise volume and can cause your cup to migrate across the dispenser plate. To solve this I placed a sorbothane mat 12x6" under the unit which reduced both noise and vibration. The unit should come from the factory with vibration absorbing pads installed. The grate does rattle as well, so I put some sorbothane between the tray and unit. Also noticed that it has to seat properly as well. Sometimes it looks seated but rattles a bit still.

Just perfect.
The media could not be loaded. Took me few days to decide between this machine and the all-in-one De’Longhi, because De’Longhi looks stunning and had some things that I really liked, but then I noticed that:1. this machine is also beautiful.2. the right size, perfect for home.3. EXTREMELY easy to use ( so easy that I’ve never used the manual).4. The water reservoir is clear, so you can always see the water level (best part for me).5. cleaning the filter and portafilter is so simple (you don’t have to spend an extra $20 for a Knock box).6. After you taste an espresso, you will never use your coffee maker again 😆 (so what’s the point of having a duo machine🤷🏻♀️)7. The froth wand is really good if you know the technique, if you don’t just keep practicing like I do, sometimes I get it right that’s why I know that the frother is not the problem is me 😂8. And the crema, OMG! The crema is just beautiful❤️ I remember the first day I used the regular ground coffee for brewing, worked good, but now I’m grinding coffee beans (check YouTube videos to get it right) and man! It is even more beautiful and delicious. I was never a coffee lover, but now I think I’m in love of lattes.😋

Seems good for the money
I've never owned an espresso machine before, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I really enjoy espresso (and coffee in general), and this machine makes tasty bean juice. For context, my go-to drink is an americano, and my wife loves a good latte (this machine is capable of both). Here's my list of pros/cons and suggested extra tools to make this machine shine.Pros:-Very easy to use - I still haven't opened the instructions, and have no intention to-Simple controls - No fancy LED screens or anything. Very straightforward.-Heats quickly - both the espresso and steam wand-Looks great - It's small and fits on the counter nicelyCons:-The included pressurized portafilter holds 11-12g of grounds in the largest basket (seems like a small amount because it kinda is...)-The water tank location isn't great, and it's on the small side. You have to purposely check the back of the machine to see the water level. There have already been several times that it's run dry on me... My fault, but it's still a con due to the design IMHO.-The steam wand is just ok... If you leave the outer sleeve on it, you get nothing but large foam. I suggest taking that off and working on angling whatever vessel you are using to try and create a vortex. This gives you some microfoam and hot milk, but I've never come close to anything that will create the latte art. Still tastes good, but the advertising is misleading. It's a good unit, and with a few extra tools, it makes really good espresso:-I suggest.... Scratch that.... You NEED a better tamper - specifically a calibrated tamper (around $15-25). They aren't that expensive, and the plastic tool that it comes with should just be thrown away.-I found a bottomless (not pressurized) portafilter that holds more grounds (straight from that Chinese site - under $20). This was a HUGE improvement to the quality and strength of espresso.-Puck screen helped the channeling. This was cheap ($6 from that Chinese site) and make a noticeable difference.-A portafilter dosing funnel will drastically cut down on the mess while allowing you to get in a full dose of grounds. There are several on this site - I suggest one that doesn't sit in the portafilter, rather a magnetic one that sits on top.-Last, but certainly not least (should be first or second....) get a decent scale that does gram measurement, and a decent burr grinder. Without these essential tools, each cup is a guessing game where the looser is your taste buds.

Aspecto bello de cafetera
La verdad me llegó rápido y se veía muy bonita, los materiales regulares, pero desafortunadamente no funcionaba del todo, así que tuve que devolver el producto y comprar otro.
