The Dragon Defenders – Book Four: All Is Lost (The Dragon Defenders: the runaway phenomenon middle grade series for kids aged 8-12)

My child is an advance reader for his age but I was having trouble finding a chapter book that would really hook him. He's aunt got him the first 2 books in this series for Christmas. I was expecting I would end up reading them to him but by the time we got home and I asked him about the books he said they were great and that he was already done with chapter 2!

My 12 year old son enjoyed this book series

10 yo son loved this series. He didn’t enjoy numbers 3 & 4 as much because the storyline seemed sadder and things were happening to the protagonists that worried him but when he finished #5 he said he really liked how the series ended. So don’t let your kiddo quit if they’re a little put off by the books in the middle.
