I would say Anser, or I call it a blade. It is not a mallet.

Is this club face balanced or does it have toe hang? Looks like there is an insert on the face (instead of milled steel)?

CT, it has a hardened rubber insert with horizontal ribs. It is the best feeling putter I have ever tried for under $100, and seemingly better than some over $100. I like the weight of it, it feels heavy and smooth but I am not an expert golfer, just play every few weeks in the summers. I am completely satisfied with this putter and pleased my purchase.
