Quite dim.I was looking for outdoor and brighter lights, but never found any with lettering spelling out Happy Birthday. They are ok. Not worth sending back, so I put them in a centerpiece and they were lit all day. I’m satisfied with this purchase.

Nice little lights worked well right away when I put in the 2 AA batteries. It's unfortunate that the light string ends with the Y, with no string/end to tie up the Y. We tied another string to both ends (the cord at the beginning and the Y at the end) to tie it up, which worked, but the Y was then hanging at a different angle than the others. Worked well for a birthday celebrated during a camping trip!

I used the lights to surprise my grandson in the airbnb I rented to celebrate his last year as a non teen!

Smaller than I thought it is perfect for a table decoration

The T, H, and D on the 2nd string don't light up. The first set of these that I ordered, were stolen from my front porch. Now it's the day before my daughter's birthday and I feel like a jerk for getting sub-standard items for the celebration. This level of quality is disappointing and surprising, especially coming from "Dependable Industries". Would not buy again.
