It is fragile. And the first was received broken even though the packaging was some of the best I have ever seen - custom styro made to fit the lamp. But it must have taken a really serious hit. The vendor replaced it within days, with no hassle, and the second one was in perfect condition.

Had to paint the shell-shaped jar lid because it was needing that, and making the fill seashells visible in a pleasing artful way is quite the task, but I got it arranged to my satisfaction eventually, added a bespoke shade though the one that comes with it is fine if you don’t wish to fancy it up. Didn’t notice that it would be bubble glass, not plain clear glass. I like the result though. Thank you for the craft-project-like result. I’ve seen much plainer lamps of this type. This one is all the better for making it your own through alteration. I enjoyed the craft aspect, but most people probably would not like to have to paint that.

Packing is great. Easy assembly For over $200 you would think it would come with some nice shells and the shell embellishments would be a little more realistic. I feel it is overpriced.
