I bought this to protect and display a diorama. It comes in well-packaged pieces with disposable gloves so you don’t smear the plexiglass during assembly, and a cloth to remove marks and smudges. The end result is quite beautiful. But you should not attempt assembly unless you have a good light source and have studied the pieces before trying to put them together. It really does work - you just carefully put the side pieces in a very narrow slot in the base, making sure to insert the side without notches, and push the piece as far over as it will go before trying to insert the adjacent piece. I managed this without trouble in spite of clumsy arthritic fingers and not the best eyesight. It is worth taking your time to get it right, because it really is a nice case.

I used this for a diorama project I was working on. It comes with a dark blue felt base that is pliable. So keep in mind, if you need it rigid, as I did, I had to glue a metal plate to the back so my landscape wouldn't crack.The sides are surprisingly weighty and well made. It comes with a pair of gloves and a microfiber cloth to avoid finger smudges. Simple to put together, but it benefits from a dab or so of clear glue on the seams to keep it from falling apart.For the price, this did the trick for my project!

I was very happy with this product which serves to help preserve my daddy's baby shoes which are over 100 years old now. The material was beginning to deteriorate so I spent a lot of time looking for something that would work holding the shoes and a photograph that I have of him as a toddler wearing them.The assembly was straightforward and understandable but I really don't see why there had to be such an extreme difference in a black base over the blue. I went with the blue because it just seemed exorbitant. I'm satisfied with it and I would recommend.

It is a little tricky to get the frosted protective sheets off of the acrylic but rubbing the fingertips of the included gloves helped pull the film away from the corner. Making sure the bottom of the acrylic sides were firmly in the slot in the base also helped. The display case does not end up with openings to allow dust to get thru and nothing is sticking out in the corners. Very pleased with my purchase.

Will not buy again. Hard to put together and once you touch it or try to move it… item will fall apart! Sadly will have to put glue
