.I assumed these came with bagteries- they do NOT. So, once you receive the lights prepare to go to nearest store, & buy 4 batteries- 2 for each string. I'm glad I also ordered the oak leaf ones, which, for an extra $2, come with batteries, ready to use. Would not order these again.

Love these little LED lights. Got them all over the house for the holidays. Wish I had bought a remote control to turn them all off at the same time, but oh well. Maybe later. These lights are really nice - they give off just the perfect amount of light - subtle

These are nice little lights for craft projects or for accent lights. They seem to be of high quality and are easily formed around most shapes. They would be a perfect item as a decoration supplement for parties or weddings. They will not produce any noticeable heat so you can use them in confined spaces also. I have not tried to see how long the running time would but the directions say 48 hours. I like the dark copper wire on this set as it blends in well with the project I am using them for. They came very well package and were shipped in a timely fashion as with most items from Amazon. They do not come with batteries so you will have to purchase separately. They use CR2032 batteries which can be found just about anywhere. The only reason this item did not receive a 5 star rating is because it is a little difficult to install the batteries. You will need a real small screwdriver to open the battery compartment so beware. I received this item at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review, and, as with all such review items, I used it long enough to get a feel for how good, bad or mediocre it is. If it seems that I only give 4 or 5 stars on my reviews it's because I tend to review only the 4-5 star items, which is why my reviews of samples tend to lean a little higher. I will often use a product for a number of weeks or a month, in order to learn its operation and get a feel of its longevity. I'm always open to questions in the comments section about it. I take pride in my reviewing process and hope it helps one in making a decision. I don't do the technical evaluations on a product, I'll leave that to the tech guys. I had a red bottle and planned to put lights in the bottle for a while. When I saw this battery operated string lights, I knew this would be the perfect touch to add to the bottle. These lights are very flexible and classy looking. With a classic look added to the bottle, it just somehow changes the atmosphere of my room and makes it more ambient I guess you could say. With very simple packaging, they arrived much earlier than I expected so no complaints there. There was no issues with setup and I will warn you beforehand, no batteries are not included but I had some already on me so it was not a huge deal breaker whatsoever Overall, these lights are great to give it that ambient, classic look to your room.I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Cute lights on bendable wire. It would take several stands to look like the picture, not sure how many stands they used in the picture, but more than just the two that come in the packet! Takes a thin circle battery. Will be great for decorating mantels or centerpieces. I received this product for free or at a discount for my honest review.
