Great message but too simple IMO...
Great message but a bit too simple in my opinion for recommended age range. My son is 4 and this book didn't keep his attention. Had I had a chance to see this book in person before I purchased it I wouldn't have. My daughter is younger and I'm hoping she likes it.

Another helpful Liam book
My son has ASD so I bought this to help teach him about not getting upset when he doesn’t win. He likes to be first at everything. We have the Liam book about Pooping which helped greatly with another issue my son had with toileting. This book is longer, easily understandable and my son loves it. It got the message accross and I’m now looking at other Liam books too. A great aid!

Liam Wins the Game Sometimes
Tht I had reviewed this item before, but Liam Wins the Game Sometimes fitted my purpose. 7-yr old grandson came home devasted on Saturday morning after his team had lost a soccer match. The loss was not his fault, but a team loss, he took it personally. I immediately got on Amazon.com for books for young disappointed boys after a game cause i knew he might not listen to anything a 70 year-old would say by way of encouragement. Upon the description of the book I ordered it and one more similar. I'm told the recipient enjoyed the books, but mostly that Nana sent them, so he did read them. Yea, we still won!!

Loved this story
Great book for teaching kids about NOT being a sore loser! I used this book in my social skills group (Kinder-5th grade) and the kids just LOVED the story. The kids were able to identify a sore loser and a great winner!
