The inner covering and case of this pillow are well constructed. The cloth covering for the foam itself is not removable. The easily removable outer pillow case is extremely soft to baby's skin. NOTE: these are the "two" pillow cases which are advertised. A second outer pillowcase would have to be ordered separately. The pillows memory foam is of great quality with absolutely no odor. It is nicely soft for comfort with the right amount of density to hold its shape and at the same time maintain good neck alignment . The shape is wide enough to support baby's head while allowing free side to side rotation so the baby's head stays on the pillow. The pillows contour at the neck area allows the neck and shoulders to rest comfortably in normal anatomical position. The pillow arrives in a sturdy box with printed instructions for proper use. I am completely satisfied and delighted with this product. It is being used for my newborn granddaughter to prevent "flat head" molding of her head with perfect results.
