Q: unit arrived with a bent front wheel... not easily bent back, any advice before returning?

Return it! The mower costs too much to keep in a damaged state.

Q: 21” wheel width is a smidge wider than my hitch rack. Is it exactly 21 inches?

I measured from the outside to outside of the back tires - yes they are exactly 21 inches. The front tires outside to outside are exactly 19 inches. Hope this help!

Q: Does kit with four batteries include the mower for $399?

Yes. Pretty great deal. Especially if you run makita ad your tool platform which I do. The extra batteries are worth every penny.
