I love this makeup! It has all the qualities that I want in a foundation. I first noticed that the color matched and blended very well on my very light cool toned skin. The serum texture is hydrating, but not at all greasy, and moves like silk over the skin when blended with just fingers. (I suppose you could use a brush or sponge, but they can absorb a lot of the product). I always want sunscreen in my makeup and this one has SPF 40 ! The coverage is light to medium and it has a translucent natural finish. Also, I always look for a vegan products.I think it is worth the price because it is the perfect foundation for my mature and somewhat dry skin. It doesn't settle in facial lines or look dry and cakey after wearing for eight plus hours. Highly recommended.

The subtle glow it leaves is stunning and natural-looking.One word of caution: don’t rely on the shade picker tool on the ILIA website. It recommended a warm tone for me, which would’ve been totally wrong. I found a much better match (ST06.5 Kai) by looking at the model photos and reading undertone descriptions. So worth the extra step.10/10 recommend—this one’s a keeper!

Wow! I have never in my life written a single review for any product I’ve ever used, but this foundation is absolutely amazing and even better than the reviews and videos. My skin looks so luminous, dewy & fresh and it provides perfect coverage. And knowing that I’m putting good stuff on my face with skin protection is the icing on the cake. I highly recommend!

I really like how this foundation is lightweight and has a skin-like finish, which makes it comfortable to wear throughout the day. However, I’ve noticed that it has a strange smell that’s a bit off-putting. Additionally, it tends to stay quite wet and can give my skin a greasy appearance, which isn’t ideal for my look. While the lightweight texture is a major plus, I wish it had better staying power and a more pleasant scent. Overall, it has potential, but it might not be the best choice for those looking for a matte or odor-free foundation.

Great make up! Texture is buttery and moisturizing. Has nice buildability if needed and is effective for covering up imperfections.

I’m 43. Fair skinned with light hair and blue eyes. I did the color match through Ilia’s website and bought through Amazon. First, the color match seems to right on. I thought it would be too dark for my fair complexion but I went with it and it worked. Next, application. That’s where I am not sure how I feel about this product. It is kind of thick and doesn’t really spread that well. And if you use too much it’s a disaster of thick goopy makeup. I have combo skin and can get oily throughout the day. I don’t think this makeup is for people with oily skin. The finish on the product is dewy to begin with but the makeup just never sets! Like never. I’ve seen the responses from Ilia about setting it with their powder and I’ve done that. It still seems too sticky for my taste. And it claims to reduce the look of pores (I’ve seen those adds pop up all over). It does not reduce the look of pores or hide any imperfections you might have. I don’t think this product does any favors for my 43 year old skin. My advice: don’t buy into the hype in the targeted ads. Save your money. This product is not worth half the price I paid for it. Finally, if you have any sensitivity to scent you will not like this product. It smells like I’ve put honey on my face! And I can smell the lingering scent throughout the day.

I love this serum and have been using it for years. I am a 46yo fair-skinned blue-eyed girl with cool undertones and Bom Bom works best for me. I love that it goes on easily and blends invisibly. I don't look like I'm wearing makeup but have a subtly dewy glow, which is all I want. I can put this on in the a.m. before I leave the house and look more even without looking like I'm wearing foundation to the gym. It's not greasy and has never made me break out. I love that it has SPF and other elements that are good for my skin. I'd say a bottle tends to last me about 6 months and I only do a little drop on each cheek and the forehead. I have historically gotten this through Sephora but this is the same price and I didn't have to go anywhere. If you want to look like you but better, I'd say give this a try.

I usually wear this stuff on the weekends when I'm not planning on seeing anyone or if I'm going to the gym first thing. It hydrates my skin, gives me the SPF I need with a tiny amount of coverage. Tips: shake this bottle for like a minute to really get the pigment mixed in. If you don't shake it well enough, you'll get a much lighter tint than you thought you would. Also, the product has no perfumes or anything, so it has a bit of a stale smell for about 10 seconds when you first put it on, but this dissipates super fast and you won't notice it again (doesn't bother me at all). Lastly, LET THE PRODUCT SOAK IN for about 10min before you even bother putting anything over it. The product is very hydrating (I have dry skin), so it does leave me a bit shinier than I prefer (some people probably like that dewy look), so I let it soak in for 10-15min then apply a little bit of loose setting powder to bring the shine down. It also does not sweat off or get gross after working out. Keep in mind this is a tinted SPF (regardless of what it says), so the coverage is very minimal. This is not a foundation. If the coverage was a little better, it would get 5 stars from me. I'm sure many people would give it 5 stars for the same reason in that it's very light. I still recommend this!
