Knitting stretches...
Perhaps a good idea in theory, but no...!!! The soles of the shoes are far too small. The knitted upper part of the shoe stretches, good for swollen feet, but it overhangs the sole of the shoe and would get wet and dirty trailing along on various floors. Looking inside the shoe, there is a perimeter around the memory foam that allows the foot to fall from its surface and push the knitted upper parts to stretch.

Feel lovely on my feet
Its really hard to find slippers without fluffy linings. I prefer a cotton lining as it feels cleaner and more airy. Looks as per picture (not exactly the most exciting looking slipper but a nice simple one). I have been wearing daily for a few months now and they are as brand new. I have even washed in the washing machine after spilling beetroot juice over them and the stains came out perfectly!

Memory foam issues...
The fit was slightly too small at first due to the memory foam filling up too much space. As this squashes down, your foot now fits further into the shoe, meaning that after a week or so of use the imprint of a foot no longer matches your foot, and a second imprint starts to be created. This results in an uncomfortable ridge. Got about 2 weeks of use from them before they were too uncomfortable to wear - won't be getting memory foam slippers again.

Stretched after wear
These slippers were great to begin with but have stretched so much after wear that they fall off my feet when I use the stairs and are dangerous on stairs. I haven’t washed them yet. I’m hoping they will shrink back to the original shape.Just adding to my earlier review. Having washed them they have not shrunk back. They are so loose I can’t wear them. Such a waste of money.

Worn out within a month
When they first arrived I thought they were ok. I’ve had them a month and as you can see from the picture they have worn out! I’m only a small person so not overweight so it’s not as though 18 stone is weighing down on them daily! I shall be looking to return....Not value for money at all.
