I had caught 3 mice in conventional traps or with a broom in my basement or first level just before getting this. About 3 weeks ago I placed the device in my basement. I caught one mouse in the basement in a trap the day after I bought it. I did not find another mouse until today. The mouse appeared to be disoriented. It was walking slowly on my basement floor like a drunken sailor. I guess the ultrasound had affected its central nervous system. I trapped it and disposed of it. Got a second device for my mom as she also had mice in her basement.

Easy to get set up. Have had two devices in a 1,000sq ft house. Unfortunately it has not worked at all to get rid of, or decrease, the field mice that have invaded. I found mouse droppings right by the device! Very disappointing. Had to go back to poison to control the critters. Do not recommend.

It works! We tried different types of glues and none of them worked but this one works in just a few days! Also very easy to use! No need to worry about gluing your fingers or having to release or dump the rodent after catching.

I cannot claim to know why but this does work. I had sounds in my attic at night that meant I had something living up there and then I actually saw a mouse! I installed this on the second floor and put it on full tilt (squirrels and mice). As the instructions promised, there is no sound from the device but the "activity" in the attic and house increased (lots more night sounds). However, within two days, I have no sounds in my attic at all and no mice in the house. It has been one month and I keep the device running but I am still vermin free. You must give it time, and be careful that objects do not block the emission pathway but it works.

I bought it to chase away chipmunks but it doesn’t even seem to annoy them! Unless this particular variety of rodent is deaf as rocks or has access to noise canceling headphones, Magic Cat is a feline failure.

So we went lookign for a solution that didnt hurt anyone or any animals... we ran across this unit from a seller we had bought from before...decided to give this a try...never having used a sound device to run off animals before i was skeptical. while waiting for this unit to arrive, we had a washing machine melt down... epic puddle in the washroom, so out the back door with that machine ordered a new one, and did some spring cleaning around the dryer, later that night i thought our cats got back there and were screwing around... went to run them off and low and behold a trio of possum younglings had came up the dryer vent pipe thru the flexi hose and into the dryer and snooping around the cat food bucket...so what does that have to do wtih this unit? well since we set it up we havent seen a single squirrel when we would see them off and on all day, and hopefully we wont be seeing any of those possums ... yes we know check the vent opening thru the wall, yes the cover that keeps critters out was damaged in a past windstorm a garden tool fell on it and took the cover off... weve fixed that and still hope those possums stay away... this device using the two phase option is keeping the squirrels away, and we did see some possums off and on before we plugged this in, cant say ive seen one since. it works. and im satisfied i made a good purchase to keep my wife and kids from doing the freak out dance thru the dining room ;) 100 percent happy and will be checking the sellers storefront next time im looking for a product off the main line of amazons front page.

This device works for me. I saw one mouse in my home and afterwards purchased it. It came the next day. I plugged it in, set it to what I wanted and I have not seen the mouse or any signs of it in my home anymore.

This product is 0% effective. The green & red colors are pretty cool. But it doesn't work at all. We have a squirrel or chipmunk trying to scratch it's way into our attic. I placed this product on the inside wall of the attic, exactly where the rodent is trying to get in, hoping to scare or annoy the rodent away with the high frequency sounds & sonic waves. I pointed the speakers in the direction of the scratching. The device didn't subdue the scratch party at all. In fact, the scratching increased, as though the rodent was drawn to the sounds & waves. I'm sorry for the harsh words, but don't waste your money on this.
