teaching my 2 year old to tell time
Ok it is small but that is great for a two year olds dexterity (he is 2 years and 2 months old). I like that it has a set hour hand that stays in sync when you move the minute hand. Has standard 12 hours along with 24 hour marks and 60 minute notations. I am working to teach a two year old that is above your average kid so needed this to be detailed. The boy reads and can add subtract and do some multiplication. He can sound out and tell you complex words such as dictionary well you spell it. So teaching him time concepts seems to be a logical next step. He was so excited when he got it and a workbook that we also purchased. This was exactly what I was looking for and it is working out well. It may not be for everyone, some kids could easily snap the hands, but if you have a child no matter what age that is showing an interest in telling time then this is a great learning tool.

Homeschooling
We use this as part of our homeschooling routine and it's really helping them understand time. Great little clock worth the money.

Perfect tool for teaching clocks and time
Not sure why there are so many complaints about the small size of this teaching tool. I bought this to teach my daughter, I don't need another giant chunk of plastic to clutter my home. If you are purchasing one to use as a teaching tool to an entire class of children, I would suggest finding a larger version. Otherwise, this suffices just fine. It does what it's meant to do and seems to be pretty durable.
