Chef WorksMen's Detroit Long Sleeve Denim Shirt

I have used chef's coats for years to help keep grease and smells off my clothes while cooking (I've also done personal chef/catering). I don't mind the chef's coat, but since I don't work in a restaurant kitchen I wanted something a bit more casual when cooking at home. I'm normally a M tall in most shirts, and the Medium fits really well. The sleeves are reasonably long (and I have pretty long arms) and the torso is slim without being tight. I am 6'2", 175 lbs, 39" chest so I'm in between sizes on the size chart. I really like the fit--it fits me like a M tall, and I normally wear a light shirt underneath with no problem. I waited to review the shirt having used it extensively and washed it often. It has held up well to washings with little to no change in size.

I bought one of each color. The black shirt had a several long loose threads, but otherwise it is fine. The blue shirt however had a huge rip along one of the seems, almost as if they forgot to stitch up that part of the shirt. Again, long loose threads and the seem has since ripped open in new spots after I've sewn it together. I had never bought Chef Works products before and I manage a growing restaurant concept looking to standardize our employee uniforms... after this experience, I now do not believe that Chef Works produces the quality of products that my new restaurants will require.

I love wearing roll tab shirts. Rolling up the sleeves and tabbing them. gives me that Muscular matter feel of confidence.
