Hi Nate. This Mean Green chalk falls in between 2-3. If you're looking for more permanent chalk our Baboon Butt Red is a 4 and our Blue It Up is between 3-4. The Mean Green is a great, vibrant fluorescent color that is the most permanent of any fluorescents we tested. Thanks for your support of our products.

Green is level 3 permanency. It is intended for non-finished materials.
