This is not just some love story between a knight and a heroine, but a love story of adventure, jealousy and complicated personalities. I must admit that I didn’t agree with how the writer portrayed the relationship at times (especially the scenes about rape, which I thought was gratuitous), but overall I thought it an excellent read and a good distraction. For a historical romance I thought this was excellent, and a solid 4 stars.
