I love watermelon, but I hate having to cut it up! It's always such a pain and very messy cutting it up with a knife so I was very excited to try out this gadget! At first I was a bit skeptical about this watermelon slicer but when I tried it I was surprised how great it really works.I have used this several times to carve up watermelons and it works as advertised. It does a good job scooping rind free slices from a halved watermelon. It is amazing how quick and easy you can slice up an entire watermelon with this melon slicer and with no mess! It's super easy to use and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who eats watermelon a lot. It definitely makes life a little bit easier.I've never used a melon baller, until now. It's perfect for a party or small get together for bite size snacks.I received this product at a discount in order to give an honest review.

I was very excited to see a watermelon slicer on Amazon as I had seen them on TV and wanted to try it. This one had an added bonus included with the watermelon slicer, a melon baller with a carving knife on the other end to help with cutting the rinds of fruit or to use to make decorative fruit displays. I used the slicer first and it was so easy to use; it does all the work for you so you don’t have to use much pressure as you are cutting through the fruit. I used it on watermelon and cantaloupe and there was no waste of leaving some fruit still on the rind which can happen when you are using a knife and doing it by hand. I used the melon baller to get my young niece to eat more fruit, she liked having her fruit in little balls as she was the only one eating the watermelon that way. I was lucky enough to receive this product free to try out and It is something I can use in more than one way which I really like, as I tried it to cut and serve cake. I saw them do it on an infomercial so wanted to try that as too. It worked well but the pieces were small. It was easy to serve though because it held the cake together after it was cut, so there were no broken or smashed pieces of cake. I would say it would be good to use cutting and serving cake if you had a lot of people to feed and a small piece of cake was ok. But for using on fruit it is very good and good to have on hand.

LOVE IT!I love watermelon but don’t get it very often because it takes so long to prepare. But NOW with the Zatiani Watermelon Slicer, I can have watermelon any time!When I first opened the box, I was a bit disappointed to not find any instructions – not even a photo. I had to go online to find out how the item is to be used. Using the slicer the first time, my slices were not as even and pretty as they showed in the online instructions. It took a couple passes to figure out the right angle for cutting and how to cut efficiently as the rind curves. Pulling the slices out is a bit tricky also as the grip on the tongs is not quite as tight as I would like. I do like the rubber grip on the handle and I’m sure my handling of the tool will get better with practice.With all that, I LOVE using the watermelon slicer! From cutting board to refrigerator, it takes less than 5 minutes to cut the watermelon, remove the slices placing them in a container, and clean up the minimal mess that it makes.I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review

Awesome product! I've always wanted one of these and it works great, I know it's a watermelon slicer how sophisticated can it get so I will review it based on functionality and feel. It does what it was made for, the blades are quite sharp and they do not take much effort to slice through the melon. The handle is plastic but it feels a bit rubbery which means it does not slip. One thing I had to get used to was the cutting part at the front of the slicer which is used to slice the bottom of the melon. based on these criteria I can say that I would definitely recommend this slicer. I haven't owned it long enough to speak on the long term durability but I do not see it breaking anytime soon.

I find it very handy , the blades are sharp and easily sliced the watermelon. The plastic handle has a rubbery feel to it which improves the grip.I have only had the product for a short time and I have not encountered any issue. We have found it very useful especially during those hot summer days. I would definitely recommend it to other people.

It does exactly what it's needed for and the silicone rubber handles makes it easy for use and makes it comfortable for use! I was planning on using it for one occasion but I hope to use it long term after realising how much time it saves me and how comfortable it is to use!Would deffiniety recommend this!

Works awesome, leaves allot of juice behind, but you can drink it.
