A great review of the American history

The descriptions say this is written for kids, but that really shouldn't deter anyone from reading this. If you want a 3,000 page in depth history of the US, or don't mind buying ten 300 page books, go right ahead. But this is a quick-paced, easy to read book that covers things concisely enough for just about anyone. For example, a description of the Reformation and the impact on US history? About 3 pages. I'm really enjoying this book and plan to keep it handy for quick reference.

The book has its own style of writing that makes it very interesting to read. I learned a lot about American history. The maps in the book are very helpful for readers to understand the geographies of historic events. It would be better if some timeline charts could be developed to illustrate the complicated relationship between events and people. Or maybe some pictures of relics/historic documents could be included to make it more interesting.
