Maybe not the best
I haven’t played Magic in probably 20+ years. But being a fan of D&D and having played before, I figured I would give it a shot and play with my daughter. I got 2 remade Commander decks and a 10pack of boosters only to find out things have changed. And the instructions are pretty vague about how the D&D portion really fits in aside from just the names and theme of the deck. There are dungeon cards and loot tokens and all this stuff that was never there when I played.I can’t deduct stars from the product for my own stupidity, plus the cards seem really nice. I just don’t understand all the new mechanics. I’ll have to take her to a game shop and see if someone can break it down for us. I haven’t seen anything helpful on YouTube yet.

Great item, bad packaging
The cards themselves were fine, but the collector Box that came with them was crushed. It is still usable, but is all bent up. A little disappointing. The box it was shipped in was fine, so it was an issue before it was shipped. Otherwise good product.

Surprisingly powerful precon
It took my wife about 5 turns to get out a flying, indestructible, hexproof, haste, first strike 14/14 creature and became the target at the table. She went on to win 2/3 of the games that night, and this was straight from the box. This precon doesn’t need much help on the upgrade side, though like all precons some adjustments to mana base could help ramp up a little faster. Overall a great “voltron” deck with a commander that lets you pull off the top of the deck with free attachment. Much better than the Arm for Battle Voltron precon which needed a lot of love to get playable and focused too much on the commander getting the buffs.

Fun starter deck.
This was a fun starter deck to play with and I would gladly sleeve it up again.
