Not a bad set (did get 2 in my set not one as suggested in some reviews)Not the most robust item, but as a bit of flair for the dining table these do nicely

One of the Mills broke after 6 weeks, poor quality

The product information for this salt and pepper grinder was not entirely clear about what comprised a set. I was expecting two - 1 for salt and 1 for pepper, so I was disappointed when only one arrived and this has influenced my value for money judgement, causing one star to be removed from my overall rating.The grinder looks and feels like good quality and works well. The coarseness of grind is easily adjusted to suit the contents or your preference. It is small and elegant enough to have a space on the dining table and is easy to use.It is made from materials that should ensure years of service and apart from my disappointment at receiving only one for the price tag, I have no complaints about its quality or performance.

I received a single grinder for review. It is supplied bubble-wrapped inside a box which would be adequate for gift purposes.This is ideal if you want a small, stylish grinder. The lid complements the appearance of the jar perfectly. I tried it with peppercorns; the coarse setting can produce very coarse grains, though the finest aren’t ultra-fine. It’s very easy and quick to refill, so it doesn’t matter if you have to refill often, though the stubby shape gives a fair capacity for a small container like this. Because the grinder part is at the top, no grains can come out when you put it down.£15 is expensive for one grinder on its own, but it is really attractive and finished to a high standard; £19 for a pair is very good value. The two in the pair are identical, so nothing to distinguish between salt and pepper, but with the glass jars this doesn’t matter.

My marble style salt or spice grinder arrived in a box that would make this a lovely gift offering and internally it was well cushioned with some bubble wrap ensuring a safe journey to your home. This is an extremely stylish grinder with a very modern look to it and a matching pair of these would enhance any dinner setting.Functionally the grinder works well with absolutely next to no effort required to dispense the contents and the fineness or coarseness of your corns can be adjusted by simply turning the plastic cone of the grinder in either direction, depending on your choice. There’s also no need for the block capital ‘S’ or ‘P’ on the lids of these condiment grinders spoiling their look as the container jar is of a glass construction.In summary a lovely stylish good quality product and a matching pair would be really nice but I feel the cost of just one of these might be prohibitive to some and the reason for my deducting a star.

The marketing material for this product is pretty confusing in my opinion. You don't expect the shaker to be as big as it is from the pictures alone (it does give the size in inches, but my god these are HUGE). Similarly, I was expecting there to be 2 shakers - not just one because some of the pictures show 2 shakers. The options given on the product page are very confusing as the pictures seem to be 1 vs 2 shakers, but then on the description it only states a difference in colour? No idea if you get 2 shakers or if it's literally just £6 more expensive for a different colour!That aside, it's a really nice sturdy shaker with a very premium feel. I cannot fault the product itself at all and it would make a fantastic gift for sure. I've docked a star because the marketing is very confusing, which is a shame. Would recommend!

High quality grinder ,however still expensive for a single grinder.I have decided to use this for peppercorns.Seems pretty easy to use ,the grinder is quite sharp hence it does not require a lot of power to rotate it.The bits that comes off the grinder have a good size ,not too chunky as some others grinders I had used to do.The size of the grinder is perfect ,especially for me as I have quite small hands .Filling it is rather easy ,so I prefer a medium size grinder and fill it more often than a large one which is hard to use.With this size I feel comfortable on using it .The design of the grinder is quite elegant and modern.I might buy another one for the salt to pair it with this one.
