Very light weight
The knifes are very light weight, there good for an Amateur Cook or someone just learning to cook.

Knife broke with no provocation
The set is very useful, sharpens well and keeps sharp reasonably well. But yesterday I was using the large knife, the 6.5” Nakiri, to peel some yuca and the blade snapped inside the handle. About less than a year and a half. Since it is on light duty, no heavy cooking, animals and the sort, only fish and vegetables, it seems to be a flaw in manufacturing. I contacted the Emeril support via email and asked for a replacement. Will post the outcome.Update Aug 24 2023Never heard back from the Emeril people. Never buying from them again.

Flimsy.
The butter/cheese/frosting spreader is the only useful part of this set. The knives are very flimsy and bend, making them very dangerous. Very disappointed.
