Pretty good idea and great design. I couldnt belive it.. The price was reasonable and i thought its probably just a clicking clock type thing, so my hopes werent really up, but i figured i would give it a try, i was so amazed when i turned it on. It actually feels like the gentle thump of the heart beat. No clicking like a clock or anything you can imagine up. Im very impressed. My dog is adjusting to being blind so she wakes up scared and confused and cries till I can get to her and reassure her. I put this in her blanket with an small hand warmer and it has had a calming effect for her. She can feel the heart beat vibrate through her blanket and pillow and the low warmth of the hand warmer is comforting.The charge makes it through the night so if I go to the kitchen or do a chore she is comforted when I'm not close at hand.I'm ordering a second one so I can alternate them, one charging while one is in use. I can put this in her stroller and should I need to charge it it works off of the phone charger in my car or even the extra chargers we have available every where.Very well made, nothing that could break off and be swallowed by accident. Nothing that could stick her or injure her at all. Smooth to touch, button is level ,no way to dig it out or chew it loose.Nice to receive a well designed product that I can trust is safe for my babis. Cause yes.... we want the best for our pets.I give this my highest recommendation. If they had a number higher than 5. This little gem would deserve it. I charged it up and put it in Jenny's blanket and let it run.... 36 hours later it was still going strong. You can feel the lub dub heart beat on top, a foot away and 2 feet away. Jenny sleeps in bed with me so I felt all around it and could feel it through the blanket and into her pillow. Sometime she lays on top of it, sometimes she is beside it but she is always within it's range. I removed it to charge and she searched for it and couldn't settle and calm. So I ordered a second one. One is charging while the other is in use, i could feel the gentle heart beat through the mattress. It's not annoying, just a soothing heart beat she finds comfort with.I can place it in her carriage or in her travel carrier in the car. Fits in the palm of your hand, not bulky or uncomfortable.It lights up when it is charging and goes dark when the charge is complete. I took it with her when she went to the baby sitter (usually she is always with me) and she was comfortable the short time I was gone.Wouldn't be without this gem. It is well made and safe i give it a 10. Best thing you can get for your babis. You won't be disappointed. ❤️

I sewed a fluffy velcro pouch to put this in, and then I wrapped the pouch around a microwavable heat gel pack in order to get the sensation of both heat and heartbeat while hugging a large stuffed animal. It works great. It's not too loud if you position it right. It helps me to fall asleep and not feel lonely or touch starved. The battery lasts a long time and I don't have to recharge it very often. I only wish that the speed of the heartbeat was adjustable so that I could slow it down a little more so that my own heartbeat might try to match it.

I got these for the orphaned bottle baby kittens I often get. I got a stuffed kitty and cut a hole big enough for this to go into. I need to add Velcro to the hole so I can wash the stuffie as needed. I didn't want to pay the price for the one on here that has this and the stuffed cat combined. They are so expensive! Any old thing will do to comfort the babies. The battery life is excellent. I'd check on it every day and it would still be beating. I got two so I could have one charged and ready all the time. I've only had one litter of kittens since I got it and they wanted nothing to do with the stuffed cat with this inside. So I'm not sure if it was this or the cat or they are just not interested. But these are a great buy and work well. I'm really amazed at the battery life. Like at least 3 days or more. I didn't like the short cords that came with them so I tossed them and just used a cord I already had.

The heart beat is loud. I can hear it on the floor when I'm laying on the bed, a bit annoying when trying to sleep in the quite. My dog is 2 years old and I work often so I wanted him to have a "friend" without getting another dog. My dog doesn't really pay the heartbeat any attention, at least he's not playing with it any more or less with the heart beat.

This product is very cheaply made and the vibration is extremely weak.

The media could not be loaded. The heart that came with Snuggle Puppy was a pain to replace the battery. This is the only rechargeable heart I could find searching online. I was a little concerned reading it’s a “frequently returned item.” But happy to say, we will not be returning this! It shipped charged and the heart is still beating non-stop days later! It’s sturdy and fits in the snuggle puppy perfectly. We have a tiny 17 yr old Chihuahua who never chewed anything up so it’s completely safe for her to enjoy. It helps with her anxiety. You can hear the beat in the video—it’s nice and loud and has a bit of a vibration. Our pup has been sleeping next to it every night. Very happy with this purchase. From reading reviews, I trust if we have an issue with it, their customer service will help. For now, it works! I really like that it has time options—can set it for 2 hrs of heart beating or non-stop.

I bought two of them. One of the devices works great! Charges quickly and beats for days.The other lights up as if it were charging but never worked. Tried to charge three separate times. So I guess you take your chances.

I used this for an orphaned kitten while I was bottle feeding him. I tucked it under a pile of blankets in his kennel and he slept on it every nap time. I’m unsure if it really helped him much but I’m hoping it gave him some comfort. I ended up keeping the baby and he’s currently a rambunctious 6 month old!
