Q: What's the minimum DC current?

This thing seems to be reasonable accurate down to 20ma, start getting under that threshold and it progressively gets worse. Not really worth the money. $125 meter for $350. If you need to read current that low break the circuit and use a standard multimeter. Not to say it’s totally useless but it has its limits.

Q: Is this just a rebranded version of the uni-t?

Other answers are incorrect. This is a UNI-T UT213C. It's printed on the circuit board inside. UNI-T makes some great stuff now, I would recommend the UT216D instead, it's an updated version of this meter with a much nicer screen and a 600A range. Can be found on AliExpress for around the same price as this Extech
