Actually Surprised How Well These Work
I really did not expect much out of these controllers. Have purchased others like them before and have been pretty disappointed. These have been fantastic though and they just work with no fuss. Built a Retropie using a Raspberry Pi 4 for my son (and wife) and bought these wireless SNES style controllers for them to use while playing. They just work every time. There does not seem to be any lag. The range is great - much farther than I would have expected. What has really been surprising though is how long the charge lasts. Grant you, we don't play the Retropie all of the time, but when we do it can easily be for several hours at a time. Even with that it will be at least a month, sometimes two before I have to charge the controllers. When you do have to charge them they charge quickly. After trying out many different controllers (wired and wireless), do yourself a favor and get a good pair of wireless ones like these.

Best bang for your buck
I bought this combo set to use with my raspberry Pi 3 retro pie setup and the controller works great for the price. They arrived in two days, no shipping issues at all. You plug the wireless receiver in and bang, it works no problem. God bless simplicity and kudos to their support team. I had an issue with one of the two controllers and it was resolved over Amazon messages. All in all, best bang for your buck if you're looking for a wireless retro controller.

Works well without issue.
Really nostalgic feeling playing super Nintendo games on the controllers. It reminded me of the sore thumbs these controllers used to produce. But still really good for what it is. Works without issue.

A good cheap alternative
Bought these for a RetroArch PC setup. Syncing was easy, press the power button twice then plug in the receiver and done. RetroArch also auto configured them without issues. Range overall was fine for me, the receivers were on the front of the machine which was about 15' away. Battery life is also fine for what you are paying especially since you can just plug the power in if you need. Only real complaint was the "feel" of the controllers. They feel a little small and definitely lightweight. They overall work fine but if I end up using this machine a lot I'll end up getting better controllers.

They're alright
If you are looking for controllers for a platformer, do not get these. There's a slight delay that I didn't notice with games like Zelda for SNES but when I switched to Mario World I really noticed it.That said, they're cheap wireless controllers so if you're using them for other games it should be fine. Maybe look into bluetooth or wired controllers if you play games that require a fast reaction.
