Got this as a gift for a coffee table book and it is actually so cool to flip through. There is a TON of content in it, which makes it so great having it out because you can always find something new to read or look at.

I read a LOT of books on mid-century home architecture.This is one of the most concise, knowledgeable and broad-based out there. Both as a reference and nearly encyclopedic.Great for a newbie or someone more seasoned.

Bought this for my partner for Christmas and out of everything he loved this the most! They have the most gorgeous homes with design bios from each architect. Very cool. Looks great on the shelf as well!

Really cool book

Saw it on the MoMA shop in NYC but had to pass on it because of weight on the plane. Glad to have found it here. Happy that Mexico is featured, but only Mexico City (some great mid century architecture also found in Guadalajara and Monterrey)

In my opinion this is a very average book, in fact book is the wrong description of it….It should be referred to as a reference catalogue!!!!It may feature 400 house in the catalogue…. But alas it has only one photograph per house and two paragraphs about the house….In fact you get two houses featured on one page and below the photograph is a brief description of said house.There’s little construction detail if any…. No floor plans at all!!!So if you want to know where 400 mid century homes are….. this reference catalog will tell you….But if you want details and construction and design information I suggest you look elsewhere!!!!This “book” may well become a door stop!!!Regards Ian Scorey

Wasnt sure why the yellow edition was so much cheaper than the pink version - now the penny drops; its because this is mostly printed in black and white, whereas the pink one is printed in colour. Not sure why they bothered printing a black and white version as it does not lend itself well to an interiors coffee table book - in mid century especially - an era that celebrated COLOUR and FORM. Does not bring me joy or inspiration to flick through. Wish I splurged on the pink copy with the colour pages, had I known.
