Love the USB recharge rather than having to buy and replace batteries

I have had this for a little more than 1 year. I use it every night (and some early mornings) to walk my dog, so I am not using it several hours at a time.Pros:* I have found the battery life to be quite good; I only have to recharge it after several days of intermittent use.* Adjusting the brightness with the dial is very easy, even when I'm on the move and holding a leash.* It is lightweight and reasonably comfortable, and easy enough to adjust the headstrap.* As I use it to walk my dog outside (rain or shine), it has gotten a bit wet in the rain and I have not seen any issues related to that.Slight negatives:* The first light is red, then it's a brighter light, then the dimmer one. My personal preference would be for the first button press to turn on the dimmer light as I always use it in slightly illuminated areas (e.g., street lights here and there). But this is not a problem; I just have to press the button a couple times.* I sometimes jog/run with my dog, so it can be a bit annoying as if it's too tight it can be uncomfortable, while if it's not tight enough it will flop around and could even fall off. So I opt to tighten it a bit more than others might. This isn't really a con for the product as I suspect I'd have the same issue with anything else.Overall, this is a great headlamp and I definitely recommend getting it.

This headlamp is great, I use it for walking my dogs in the dark, the light is more than bright enough, the ability to tilt the light up or down, adjust the brightness easily. I have yet to have the battery run out on me. I have found it comfortable to wear and have no complaints or regrets. If you are on hesitant because this headlamp is more expensive, it is worth it in my opinion.

This rechargeable headlamp has a great design. it will always turn on as RED, which is perfect for nighttime. It won't wake up your tent-mate or bother your night vision while star watching.Also good for nighttime beach walks where turtles may be nesting or hatching.Lamp easily switches to white light if you need it.The dial is easy to use and allows you to adjust brightness.Recharges with included USB.Could not be more pleased with this purchase.Also happy to support Princeton Tec whose products are Made in USA.

Not happy with this lamp. Bought it for night fishing in April, 2022. Overall seemed to be very comfortable, light and convenient headlamp. But unfortunately it worked properly only for couple of months. Now after full charge battery lasts for only about 2 hrs in on/off regime. Will need to get another lamp, leaving this for backup

Ease of operation is very difficult, I want a very simplistic light for my needs.

I've had Princeton before and have dealt with a failed product in the past and this is a stand-up company so i will deal with them again and again. this light is almost really great. i love the function and weight and usability. the battery life is the problem and its a sealed battery so you cant up grade. it doesn't feel as durable as the Princeton of the past (but not super cheap feeling either) so for the price its a maybe. not a long term outdoor lamp but a great emergency house or car lamp. now i want this exact lamp in a better battery that isn't sealed.

Tried several of the Chinese options before deciding this is a case of “You get what you pay for.”I originally had the battery operated version. After more than a year (on a one year warranty) it stopped working. I contacted the company by phone. I actually got to talk to a real person who spoke perfect English. He said they’d replace the unit even though it was out of warranty. They sent me a new one and didn’t even insist that I send in the old one. I should have remembered that when I decided to get a rechargeable one. I’ve been using this one for several months with none of the problems I had with the inferior Chinese ones. The options are great. It’s sturdy. It holds a charge for an extended time.Don’t waste your time and money on those cheap, flimsy products. Buy this light!!

Not even a week old, something already went wrong. Door hinge pin has fallen off. So much for Made in USA. Not recommended
