The recipes are solid. Either great on their own or the spark of inspiration needed for a great meal. I absolutely recommend this book.

Just received my copy today which couldn't have come at a better time as I will be leaving Friday for our first camping trip of the season. I started reading through this book and can't wait to try some of these recipes during our camping and backyard fire pit adventures!

All style no substance, very basic and simple ideas with no real information on cooking times. Also, not suitable for a UK audience as all the food is US staples. I would have expected more meat joints, but sadly not.

Lovely book, perfect gift for anyone who wants to do some fire pit cooking, some really nice meal ideas included.

Bought as a present but very well received!

This would be okay as a rather expensive stocking filler but not much more than that. It wasn't what I expected as it's a very small book, basic with not much detail. There are much better fire pit cooking books around with more adventurous recipes and better information about preparing and building a good fire suitable for cooking.
