Great for turning off Bluetooth car data interface
Exactly as described, worked perfectly for using my PLX KIWI Bluetooth dongle. Now I can switch the unit off instead of unplugging it to prevent my car's battery from going dead. The switch is good quality. This cord was a real nice addition to my car.

Works Great, Design could be better.
Good quality construction. Switch works great to disconnect from OBD device, which can be permanently left installed without draining car battery. Only problem is that the cable leaving the OBD runs toward the pedals instead of away, putting the cable against the right leg.

Extension Cable for AFM delete
This worked perfectly with my Range AFM delete. I mounted it with velcro so it makes it easier to utilize the on/off switch. I highly recommend the Ollgen OBD 2 cable cord for anyone needing an extension cable.

UPDATE: power switch no longer works after just over a month
Worked great until 2 days after the return period. Now, when you turn the power switch on, you have to wiggle the switch to actually get power. If you bump it while in use, you'll have intermittent power. I really like it, just wish the switch still worked correctly.UPDATE: Power switch no longer works at all. Will not provide power any more. I will contact seller to see if there is anything I can do and will update my review pending customer support.

The switch housing was a little loose
This OBDII extension switch is cheap. Cost is cheap, as the build quality is cheap. When I received the unit, the bag it came in was quite weathered and wrinkled. Not a good start. Then I opened it up and found that the housing for the switch portion was loose on one side - Enough that it wouldn't be hard to pry apart at all. I imagine because of that, and the weathered look of the plastic bag it came in, that this was a returned item. However, I managed to just push it together. It's not perfect, but it'll doFunctionally, it works as it should. For my application, the overall length is just the right size. (I've placed my OBDII device in a little cubby above the steering wheel on my 1st gen xB.Definitely useful. In the past I would keep my bluetooth OBDII device plugged into the port all the time, but yes it draws power even when the car is off. This is an absolute logical buy for me.Cosmetically, it didn't arrive perfect, but it functions as it should, and is very useful.
