Easy to use
Fit for right or left side. At first I pulled the ostomy pouch tabs thru the opening and wasn't happy with that configuration. I then just pulled the pouch thru the opening and over the three tabs and adjusted and fastened the Velcro. Worked fine. Since I covered the tabs, the next time, before I put this belt on, I attached my regular belt to the ostomy pouch and then put this belt on. Worked fine. Everything is secure and this belt helps keep the hernia down, not as much as I'd like but much better than without this belt. I'm going to try a medium instead of a large to see if the smaller size will keep the hernia more compressed.

This is my back up belt...
I do have another that is a little more comfortable but it cost much/much more and this is my backup and second choice so for the price, I think it's a good choice.

Would recommend
Got this due to having some issues with my ileostomy. Help with support for the bag and around my stoma site. Also helped reduce the appliance coming off and leaks. Bit awkward putting one for the first time but after you figure out how to get it on and placed that works for you its easy and comfortable. Word of advice don't put in the dryer. Lol

Measure first
The hole for the stoma pouch runs small. I was able to use it.

Pattern needs adjusting for a woman
This was a great idea. At this time, I wear a thin belt. I liked the idea of something that surrounded the ostomy bag to support it. There are a few problems with the design of this for a woman. Women are not shaped straight up and down. We have waists and hips. That means the wrap should not be rectangular. As someone who sews, I understand it is much easier to have this wrap straight around. However, to go around the larger hips and smaller waist, that means when a woman sits down, it will ride up, pulling the ostomy bag up. This loosens the bag from the body. or pulling the ring off and pulling the bag up and cutting it off. Why not taper the belt so it's a little more narrow until it gets to the ring area. To me, this was a waste of money and tossed aside to be used as a piece of elastic in a sewing project down the line. Also note - I measured myself and my daughter measured me, too to be sure. I was smack dab in the middle to order a size medium. It "just" fit. I really needed a large. The fitting scale chart is off.
