If you would like to know the difference between the CDIS here it is!!!
Here's what I'll say this is Not my 1st review of one of these products I reviewed another product and put the same message on another One of the Cdi products and her I goSo I tested both these blue and Orange CDI and The lesser known red cd I and I found the difference so me and my brother one weekend decided to test all these cdi's On a flat road outside my grandmother's house and we figured out the red is significantly better then the stock,The Orange was significantly better than the red and stock it was more of a racing CDI like it says But the interesting thing is a lot of the videos out there on YouTube say the blue is best it is but it isn't the Orange and the blue are about the same the only difference is 1 to 1/2 seconds delay between the both of them I know I'm surprised too I didn't realize they're basically the same) thanks for reading subscribe to flokilla21 on YouTube for more reviews I know I'm a sellout

It works!
I have Tao Tao 150 and saw a video that recommended this enhancement- previously the scooter topped comfortably at 45mph - now it accelerates faster and is comfortable at 55. Itโs not going to make it a racer but very well worth the money and itโs an easy upgrade

Didn't work out of the package
I plugged in the new CDI and tried starting my scooter. The scooter turned over for a second and then nothing. I found the fuse coming off of the positive battery terminal was blown. I installed a new fuse and hooked up the old cdi and the scooter started right up. Again I tried the new cdi and it blew the fuse once again. I'm sure the new cdi is grounding out inside of the cdi box somewhere causing the it back-feed and blow the fuse. Meaning the new cdi was dead on arrival.

I got a good one and love it.
Put on dongfang 200 cc .. Go kart... Let's just say wow... Easy starting difference in power band can't expect much out of a motor this size but this helps get rid of the Honda cold blooded feature that some of us know.. Since these motors are a gy6 clone... Some reviews are bad but I always look at the main things... The price and do you know how to really install it and is yours ac or DC going to the cdi...dongfang I have is ac for those this may help and I mounted it to the outside of the plastic housing normally holding the cdi

Other cdi boxes are just as good and more compact. Take measurements before buying
Very dificult to mount, not enough room to mount and the slots on rubbermount ripped when mounting. Had to adhere eslewhere due to the fact it wouldnt fit where it was supposed to inside or behind battery area
