The cushioning is phenomenal and feels great underneath my feet when I get out of bed. The no slip backing does exactly what it says and holds the rug in place, even with a dog that likes to do her zoomies. No bunching or slipping whatsoever. Stays in place effortlessly even with a powerful vacuum.

This company's rug pad was recommended by a web site and after seeing the reviews, I ordered two for my long rug runners in the kitchen and hallway. Unpacking them, I didn't notice they had any smell, which I know some reviewers had mentioned...mine were odorless. And once I put them in place and put my rug runners on them, my rugs do not move at all and feel much softer to step on. I got the 1/4th inch thickness and even at that thin level, I notice a positive difference. I now plan on ordering more for my other rugs. I do have a hardwood floors and these work well on them.

This is the best rug pad! We have two dogs that run around and would make the area rug move all around the hard wood floor. This rug pad keeps it perfectly in place no matter what, and it’s nice and thick so nice to walk on!

I love Ruggable for its washability, especially with dogs and rural living. But I really wanted a more comfortable rug for our great room and was considering Ruggable's thicker pad they began offering for their rugs. Anyone who has a Ruggable knows that they are basically similar to a thin tarp...and they feel that way as well. Beautiful, yes. Washability is wonderful, yes. But the feeling underfoot with their regular pad is not there. Well if you have a washable rug you have to give up something somewhere. But then Ruggable came out with a thicker pad and it was tempting to switch out my regular thin pad...but at two hundred eighty bucks, so expensive! I thought, what the heck, for a little over 100 bucks for the 8x11 RUGPADUSA pad, I'd give it a try. IT WORKS PERFECTLY. Anyone who is hesitating, give this a try! Basically, you put this rubber side down (for grip) (and I have hardwood, FYI), then layer the Ruggable thin pad down, then the Ruggable on that. Presto! It all works great. And to be honest, when I was assembling my layers, it appeared as though the Ruggable would actually attach pretty well to this RUGPADUSA pad all by itself...it seemed to be a bit grippy even without the Ruggable thin pad sandwiched in. I don't have it assembled that way, but for the cost of Ruggable's thin pad, you might want to try just the Ruggable by itself with this pad...I think it could work! So I bought the 8x11 pad as it was cheaper than the actual 8x10 size that I needed, and I just trimmed it. I found that trimming it about 1 1/2 inches smaller than my 8x10 Ruggable seems to work well. It allowed my Ruggable to drape over the edges just perfectly and it seems to help with any tripping hazard you may get with the added thickness of the pad. I did notice it took about a day for the Ruggable to settle over the edges nicely, so don't give up immediately after placing it on the pad...it will relax after a while. I found this pad was trimmable with a regular sharp pair of decent scissors. I had a duller pair that were a pain, and I had a pair of hub's shop shears (for metal and such), but found I didn't need them, my regular good scissors did fine, altho it took a couple of times letting my hand rest to finish the whole thing. I love this pad! The quality is great!

I bought this for a small 2’ x 4’ rug and the rug never moves. That was a test. I then bought pads for a 5x 7 and 6 x 9 rug. I have 5 grandchildren and a visiting dog and the rugs never moved. They previously slid all over. I can’t say enough good things about these pads .

I had already received my area rug but wanted a pad to ensue there was no slipping or movement. I ordered a 10x13 pad with an expected delivery date of 12/23. My guests were coming on 12/21 so I contacted the seller and asked nicely if it was possible to speed up the delivery. to have it here by 12/21. They processed the order, sent it out and it arrived on 12/21. We had the pad and the rug down 1 hour before our guests arrived. Perfect timing. Mess was gone and everything looked great. The pad is excellent and provides extra softness for the rug. Highly recommend this pad and especially this company!

We have bought 4 of these, not all at one time, for our oriental rugs that are on tile and hardwood floors. They protect the floor and stop the rug from moving around. They also make the rug softer to walk on. They came in various sizes and were easy to trim with a scissors to the exact size needed. Having said that, they are at the higher end of the price range, but worth it.
